INSANITY Workout vs. P90X!
The P90X Workout Program is the more popular of the two Beachbody products, …., BUT I’m here to tell you that the INSANITY Workout is better! Not only is the INSANITY Workout better, but the results are even more remarkable, and by the way, the transformation takes only 60 Days…, not 90 Days!
Don’t get me wrong folks, the P90X Workout Program definitely works, I’m a graduate, and I’ve done the 90-Day Program myself (so I’m a believer), and there’s no question that the results are truly amazing, BUT if you want to get really ripped, get incredible abs, and eliminate all that unwanted body fat at the same time, then there’s no comparison, the INSANITY Workout is incredible. Trust me, I’ve done them both, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
INSANITY Workout – Cardio, Cardio, Cardio, and Cardio!
In my opinion, one of the key reasons that the INSANITY Workout is a much better workout program than the P90X Workout, is that’s it’s loaded with cardio, whereas in P90X, there’s actually very little cardio exercises at all (you really only get a small taste of it with Plyometrics & Kenpo X). With the INSANITY Workout, every day is loaded with cardio…, I’m not kidding it’s virtually loaded with non stop maximum interval cardio training. If it’s not obvious, all you have to do is look at the names of each of the individual INSANITY Workouts…, i.e. Plyometric Cardio Circuit, Cardio Power & Resistance, Cardio Abs, Pure Cardio…, I think you get the picture, by the time you finish one of these INSANE Workouts, you’ll be dripping in sweat!
The INSANITY Workout Program takes me back into the day, and very much reminds me of my days of playing High School Football, where the Summer Football Workout Program was all cardio, it was the beginning of the season, and it’s the time that we spent conditioning our bodies for the long football season ahead. Whereas P90X actually reminds me more of the Weight Room Training that we did as players in the gym (building up muscle) before the actual start of the Football Season, and the conditioning program. Both produced results, but both were different as well.
INSANITY Workout – You’ll LOVE your new Abs!!
The other difference is that you’ll get much more core and abdominal work with the INSANITY Workout, as you’ll work that area of your body every day. With P90X, the Ab Ripper X Workout DVD was effective, but it’s only a ~15mins add-on workout 3X/day, and your body quickly adapts to the same exercises that are repeated…, again don’t get me wrong, P90X definitely works folks, and you will see results with your abdomen, BUT with the INSANITY Workout, the results are much more pronounced, you get truly ripped, and it gets you that (beach) body that you really want.
P90X focuses more on strength and size to an extent, you utilize weights and/or resistance bands in almost every workout (and you do a combination of almost every pull-up possible), whereas with the INSANITY Workout Program, there are no weights involved at all. Although don’t think that you’re still not getting a strength workout in addition to all the cardio that you’ll be doing, there’s plenty of push-up and strength related exercises incorporated into the workouts as well.
The INSANITY Workout will definitely focus on the elimination of body fat, you will develop lean core muscle, and eliminate fat in those unwanted areas at the same time, and it’s impossible to not see significant abdominal definition, your abs will look incredible!
